HOW CAN YOU ACCELERATE GETTING YOUR TAN IN A TANNING SALON?

Updated: Mar 12, 2021

What do we “lack” the most in today’s world? Time. Do you also suffer from this affliction? We know it all too well. It is with those busy and impatient people in mind, who want a natural-looking, fast and lasting tan, that we have created tanning accelerators.

The tanning accelerator is a beauty care product that has been designed to not only activate efficient tanning, but also to ensure the result is long-lasting. These professional cosmetics often contain tyrosine, an ingredient that has proven tan accelerating properties. It improves the melanogenesis process, i.e. the formation of the melanin pigment in the skin, when subjected to UV radiation, thus intensifying the tanning process.

Precious additives. Professional accelerators available in tanning salons also contain substances that have powerful nourishing and conditioning properties. Their composition includes, among others, antioxidants that protect the skin against free radicals, and other ingredients with regenerating, moisturizing, and firming properties, as well as those that work to improve the quality and condition of the skin, such as allantoin, vitamin E, Shea butter, Panthenol or aloe Vera. The compounds that also work to accelerate the appearance of a tan include, among others:

  • tyrosine and activator compounds, such as riboflavin or ATP

  • copper

  • copper gluconate

If you want to intensify the tan effect, choose a tanning accelerator containing a bronzer. This beauty care product may additionally have an anti-aging effect, thanks to ingredients such as collagen, Matrixyl or green tea extract.

When and for whom?

Tanning accelerators are an absolute must have if you have not tanned for a long time, you have a fair complexion or your skin is delicate and does not tan easily. It is also an excellent beauty care product for people who are already tanned, and who want their tan to be natural-looking and long-lasting. These tanning products are safe to use and you can apply them before each tanning session, both to the body and to the face.
